Scope
The principal purpose of this project was reviewing the provision of outdoor recreational facilities in the Mosman Local Government area and assessing the future outdoor recreation needs of the community.
What we did
- Assessed the demand for recreation facilities for the estimated future population
- Undertook a detailed literature review
- Provided a situation analysis
- Carried out detailed consultation with Council staff, key stakeholders and user groups
- Performed an existing facilities needs assessment, which identified any shortfall in facilities
- Identified and recommended recreation facilities for the City’s estimated population growth
