    Ways to get involved

You can have your say in the following ways:

    • Comment on map: Click here for steps.
    • Fill in a quick survey, make a comment, or send a more detailed email or submission (see links above).
    • Post something on the project Facebook page (see link above).
    • Come to a meeting to discuss issues and opportunities. Dates to be advertised on the webpage soon.
    • Comment on the draft strategy, when it has been completed.

    Please tell us:

    • What improvements can be made to ensure walking and cycling is easier and more enjoyable in the Rural City of Wangaratta.
    • What problems you encounter when you ride or walk.
    • About opportunities to expand the current path network, off-road trails, bike lanes or gaps in existing facilities.
    • How your school, workplace or local community could encourage more people to walk or ride.
  • Updates
A preliminary draft report was submitted to the Council in early July.

@leisure's involvement in the project has now concluded. For further updates please check with Council.

Demand and Consultation Findings have been completed and are now available!

Thank you to everyone who contributed to this Community Engagement, we appreciate your input and support.

To view the documents of these findings, please click on the link here.

The next step will be to recommend key routes.

We are really pleased that 125 people took the time to fill in a survey, and additional people were interviewed, came to a drop in, commented on the map or submitted additional information. We are compiling a summary demand and consultation findings document. Council will be briefed on the 25th of March.

Thank you for all the comments, survey responses and submissions received. We are currently interviewing schools and other organisations. Over the next week or so a document will be compiled summarising the findings from community engagement.

    Last Chance

Please send any further thoughts by email by tomorrow  1st March.
